I moved to France in 2002 and quickly realised that Brittany was not the place for me. Next stop was further south, lots of sunshine but very, very boring.

So we, myself, three children, my long-suffering husband and an assortment of four legged creatures, decided to move again. This time to the 64 region where it rains a lot, Basque activists periodically try to bomb things and house prices are ridiculously high.

But for some strange reason, we love it..

My husband, James, is the other part of Kings Wharf Media. He takes the photographs, manages the stock images and fixes my computer for me. When he is not in the office or out shooting, he is usually up to his ears in cement. We are renovating an enormous Basque farmhouse. Renovation is not really the right word; there are currently just four walls....

We specialise in French property and construction; we have extensive knowledge of France and all things French. We provide eye-catching, sharp images and crisp, clear copy that is always delivered on time.
