Click "Search for a freelance"
You may search for entries in the Directory by entering or selecting the appropriate term in any or all the fields shown in the search form. You may search by name, skills, specialisms and geographical location.
If you know the name of the journalist you are looking for, enter his or her name into the box labelled "With any of these
names or placenames or words:", in quotes thus
"Jo Bloggs", and leave the other boxes alone.
Entries in the Freelance Directory are free to paid-up freelance members of the NUJ. If Head Office records do not show you as a freelance, you need to contact the Membership department to ensure that your Directory entry is activated: see the London Freelance Branch Frequently Asked Questions for advice on doing this.
Click or tap on the Login / menu link above. From the menu that appears, select "member login" and then on "Forgotten your password?".
Enter the email address you gave when you first joined the Directory. The Directory machine will shortly send you a new, random password. When it arrives, return to "member login" and copy and paste the new password from the email in there.
Full entries in the Freelance Directory are now entirely free to freelance NUJ members, including up to three sample photos and an extended text with design. Pasted in a sample article from the website where it appeared, with an extra photo, came out rather nicely.
You need to get yourself a password. Here's how...
