Extra information:
Though still relatively early in my career, I have already published in-depth pieces on topics including UK devolution, the fight for fair pay in the NHS, policing, the wider criminal justice system, and housing.
I have tried hard to draw attention to issues that are not always well-reported in Wales, such as the relationship between the Welsh Government and the arms industry, the likely impact of the UK Government’s Policing Bill on the prison system, and pension fund investments in firms linked to human rights abuses.
In the course of my work I have made use of data analysis, archival research, and FOI requests, developing a range of contacts here in Wales, at the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights in Berlin, and as far afield as Sana’a, Yemen.
