Extra information:
What do the Olympics 2012, the College of Law, BP, the National Childbirth Trust and various financial services companies all have in common? It’s me!
I’ve worked on publications – print and online – for all of the above. Using design and writing skills learned as a newspaper journalist, and then in corporate publishing, I helped get their message over to target audiences.
Other clients have included Regus (the world’s largest provider of serviced office space), Age UK, Colchester Borough Council, Royal Jordanian Airlines and many SMEs.
A skilled writer, sub-editor or proof-reader and project manager, I have another significant string to my bow – a real flair for print design (eg, I lay out a 92-page quarterly magazine for the National Childbirth Trust) and experience in website design too.
And in a lot of the work I’m engaged in I work in strategic alliances with other talented people from the world of publishing: other writers, graphic designers, website developers, printers and so on. So, if a client brings me in there’s also the potential – through me and contacts I’ve made over 25 years – to open a doorway to the wider publishing industry, with me as their guide.
